Save a Little Green! Eat What's in Season: October

How to stretch your dollar at the grocery store is on everyone's mind. Food prices are not getting any cheaper. Buying seasonal produce is a sure fire way to save a little money when shopping.

This list is helpful to outline what you will see popping up in the produce aisle and local farmers markets so be sure to stock up! I can already smell the baked cranberry pumpkin bread in the air!

October

cranberries, apples, pomegranates, grapes, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, winter squash, broccoli, spinach, lettuce

Always a good deal
Potatoes, banana, celery
